Leveling Uneven Concrete in Metamora

Our team uses PolyLevel® to level sinking concrete in Metamora.

HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair also offers complete concrete repair services that restore and protect concrete inside and outside of your Metamora home, including concrete driveways and sidewalks. Our innovative concrete sealant permanently bonds with one application to protect new and old concrete against UV rays and moisture for long-lasting protection.

If you have sloping concrete floors in your home, we will restore them with the PolyLevel concrete leveling system, a faster and longer-lasting alternative to mudjacking. PolyLevel cures in as little as 24 hours, adds very little weight as it lifts, and is far less messy than traditional mudjacking, making it ideal to use on interior slabs.

Job Stories From Metamora, MI
Bowing Wall Repaired in Metamora, MI

These Metamora homeowners contacted HomeSpec because they noticed serious problems with their foundation such as stair-step cracks and bowing. They also had water issues in the past, so they had an interior drainage system already installed.

The best thing to do in this scenario is get the repairs done as soon as possible before they get even worse.

So to repair this basement, our experts installed two different types of stabilization systems on the walls and repaired the damaged/cracked concrete blocks. Now the walls are stabilized and the homeowners don't have to worry!

Leaking Cracks Improperly Repaired in Metamora, MI

This homeowner reached out to HomeSpec because she had several cracks in her basement that were improperly fixed by the previous owner. The cracks looked sloppily repaired, and they were still leaking profusely. She couldn’t even get in contact with the company that allegedly did the repair.

Our crack technician had to first remove the old repairs, and then he could properly fix the cracks. They were completely sealed and waterproofed with FlexiSpan, which won’t dry out or crack like other sealants. It’s also flexible enough to move with the wall. The best part is, after the repairs were done, you couldn’t even tell where the cracks once were! Several months later the homeowner reported still having a dry basement.

Sinking Concrete Porch Raised in Metamora, MI

The porch on this Metamora home was sinking and pulling away from the foundation. It was starting to become an eyesore, but the homeowners didn’t know why this was happening or how to fix it, so they called the concrete experts at HomeSpec.

Luckily the porch wasn’t supporting any sort of structure - if it had columns supporting a roof for example, it wouldn’t be able to be PolyLeveled. Since the areas were all freestanding concrete slabs, our crew was able to use PolyLevel to fix the porch problem.

PolyLevel is injected below concrete through a minimally-invasive method, and expands to fill in the voids between the soil and the slab - all the while the slab is lifted and leveled. It cures quickly and the area can be used again within a day. The joints between the porch and the home, as well as the porch and the steps were all sealed as well. The homeowners were happy to find an economical, stress-free solution to their concrete problem.
