Photo Album: Macomb, MI Cracked Garage Floor Repaired by HomeSpec
A Macomb, MI homeowner reached out to HomeSpec due to concerns about tripping hazards. Slabs of concrete throughout the property were sinking and riddled with cracks. In the garage, there were cracks from the garage door to the house door that spanned the width of the area. The homeowner wanted to fix the concrete before the damage got worse and would need to be replaced. They scheduled an inspection with one of HomeSpec’s senior project managers, Mark.
On the day of the inspection, Mark met with the homeowner to discuss their worries and goals. Mark then examined the walkway, steps, driveway, and garage. He measured the depth of cracks and how far the gaps between the slabs had become in certain areas. He wrote down notes about how different sections of concrete needed to be lifted and then returned to speak with the homeowner. Mark proposed using PolyLevel® Injection Foam to lift the sunken sections of concrete until the area was level. Afterward, the crew would use NexusPro sealant on the cracks and joints. This would hold the broken sections together and protect the concrete from further damage. The homeowner agreed to this plan and scheduled a crew out to complete the work. Fred, a foreman who specializes in PolyLevel projects, led his team in this project. The homeowner was happy with the final results!
