This wet, humid, musty basement needed some TLC. The homeowners wanted to rennovate and turn the basement into a playroom for their kids, but water often leaked in and the air was musty and humid. To sovle this problem, HomeSpec installed an interior drainage system and a sump pump to waterproof, and then installed a dehumidifier to suck the moisture out of the air.
Dehumidifier
The dehumidifier maintains a healthy 55% relative humidity but sucking moisture out of the air and depositing in into the drainage system.
Sump Pump
The sump pump expels water away from the foundation so it can't leak into the basement.
