Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Wall Restoration Panels Installed in Keego Harbor, MI to Waterproof Basement
These homeowners in Keego Harbor, Michigan contacted HomeSpec because water was seeping into their finished basement. The problem was coming from the large window well that bordered one entire side of the foundation. Between the poor drainage in the window well and the high levels of water below the home, this led to a big headache for the homeowners.
Luckily, HomeSpec was able to solve their problem after their project manager, Mark, came up with a custom solution. Our crew installed an interior drainage system around the section of the basement that bordered the window well. Then they installed proper drainage in the window well to prevent water from pooling in there. To expel all of this water away from the foundation, they needed two of our powerful TripleSafe sump pumps installed. Lastly, they installed our Everlast™ Finished Wall Restoration System. This ties into the finished basement while also preventing water damage to the walls.
Finished Wall Restoration Panels
These are waterproof and mold resistant so if water does get into the basement, the drywall will not be damaged again.
EverLast Wall Restoration System
While they help to waterproof the basement, they also provide a clean finished appearance that matches the rest of the room. It's a great backup to prevent the drywall from becoming water damaged.
Large Exterior Window Well
The window well was very large and extended from one end of the house to the other.
Poor Drainage
The window well did not have good enough drainage considering the amount of water it had to deal with. Water was pooling near the foundation and leaking into the basement.
