Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Avoca, MI Crawl Space Insulated to Prevent Frozen Pipes
These homeowners contacted HomeSpec because the pipes in their crawl space would freeze every winter and they needed a solution. At the time, they had two heaters installed in the crawl space to mediate the problem which is very unsafe.
HomeSpec was able to encapsulate and insulate the crawl space to solve this issue. We sealed the walls and floor with a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and insulated any other gaps with the SilverGlo Insulation to prevent cold air and water leaks.
Now the crawl space is not only warm, but also dry, clean, and healthy!
