Kelly in Petersburg, Michigan had failing crawl space support posts leading to a sagging floor above. It was also muddy and moist in the crawl space, so she was looking for encapsulation options as well!
HomeSpec repair the sagging floor by installing our SmartJack Support Posts to stabilize the crawl space and lift the floor back up to its original level.
Then we sealed the walls and floor off from the outside with a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This + sealing all gaps with our SilverGlo Rigid Insulation prevents air, water, pests and moisture from infiltrating the crawl space. This keeps it dry and clean!
Kelly now has a healthy crawl space and a healthy home as a result. She was so happy with the final project!

The gaps and joists were also sealed with foam insulation to prevent air and water leaks.
