Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Sagging Floors Caused By Faulty Crawl Space Support in Commerce, MI

Project Manager: Ben Gabowitz Foreman: Jon Lont Robert in Commerce Township, Michigan was suffering from all of the signs of structural issues in a crawl space – sagging floors, cracks in the ceiling of the upper level, and the floor separating from the floor boards. He contacted HomeSpec to remedy the situation and get rid of his bouncy floors permanently.  Upon inspection, it was discovered that the structural support in the crawl space was indeed faulty. This was causing the floors above to dip and sag. The settlement issues led to several cracks in the ceiling extending from windows and doorways.  To solve this homeowner's problems, foreman Jon Lont installed SmartJack Crawl Space Support Posts. These stabilize the crawl space by transferring the weight to the posts, while lifting and leveling the floors above.  The homeowner was ecstatic to finally be rid of the annoying bouncy floors for good!
