This Harsens Island homeowner contacted HomeSpec because he was having problems with his old garage. He wanted to build over it, but the foundation was covered in stair-step cracks inside and outside.
Our foundation experts took a road trip (and a ferry) to inspect the problem and discovered that the foundation was sinking, causing the structure to become unstable and crack. We proposed installing helical piers to stop the sinking and lift the foundation back to its original position. The homeowner agreed, so our crews got to work!
Now that the foundation of the garage is stabilized, the homeowner can continue with his plans to renovate!
