Foundation Repair Photo Album: Slab Foundation Sinking and Settling in Sebewaing, MI
These homeowners contacted HomeSpec because part of their home was sinking and settling. Half the home was on a slab and the other half was on a basement - and the part on the slab had started to settle, which was reflected by the cracks on the inside and outside of the home.
To fix this problem, HomeSpec installed helical piers. These lift the sinking foundation from underneath and stabilize it - preventing it from further movement.
We also repaired some concrete for the customer with the PolyLevel system. The homeowners are now worry-free!
Cracked Foundation
Signs of a settling home include cracks on the outside of the home, and on the inside.
Foundation Stabilized
Now the home is stabilized and the homeowners will not have to worry.
Helical Piers
The piers anchor into strong, stable soils to prevent the home from sinking any further. They can also lift the home back to its original position.
Settling Slab Foundation
Homes settle and sink due to unstable soils underneath the foundation that cannot support the weight.
Slab Foundation
The entire front of the home needed to be lifted by the piers.
