Foundation Repair Photo Album: Dearborn, MI Home Settling & Sinking Causing Foundation Cracks
Project Manager: Mark Buhr
Foreman: Ryan Loop
Concrete Foreman: Devin Parker
Grant B. from Dearborn, Michigan contacted HomeSpec after discovering that one side of his home was sinking. There were several cracks throughout the main floor of the home, extending from windows and doorways, which is a huge sign of foundation settlement.
Grant had a structural engineer draw up a repair plan, which included several helical piers. These drill into the earth and under the home to lift and stabilize the foundation, preventing further sinking.
Grant also wanted several of his driveway slabs PolyLeveled – which lifts and levels the concrete to eliminate tripping hazards and unsightly concrete. Our concrete specialist Devin Parker worked on the driveway while foreman Ryan Loop installed the piers.
Grant was so happy with the end results, and passed all of the final city inspections!

Prevent Sinking Home
Piers stabilize structures and lift them back to their original level.
Helical Piers
The piers can be installed year-round, and install fast and effectively.
Lift & Stabilize Foundation
After they are anchored into the ground, the weight of the home is transferred to the pier.
