Foundation Repair Photo Album: GeoLock Wall Anchor Stabilizes Saint Clair Shores, MI Foundation Wall

HomeSpec works with customers from all walks of life. In this case, the owners of a Saint Clair Shores, MI home live in another state but want to make sure the home is suitable for their father who will be moving in. Another company did a home inspection, and that is when the owners learned how bad of shape the foundation was in. The floors were uneven and there was noticeable shifting and cracking on the outside. It was important to these homeowners that the basement did not flood so their father would not have to shop vacuum to prevent further water damage. They called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair to see what repairs could be done. HomeSpec sent a senior project manager, Zach, to do an inspection and see what products would best align with this home’s needs. After completing his inspection, Zach shared a variety of products to fix this foundation properly. One of these products is known as a GeoLock® Wall Anchor which is used to prevent further movement in bowing, buckling, sliding, and tilting walls. Galvanized steel plates are secured against the inside of the foundation wall and on the outside against compacted soil.
