Foundation Repair Photo Album: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Basement Lifted, Stabilized, and Waterproofed

A homeowner in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI initially reached out to HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair because they noticed a basement wall bowing, horizontal cracks in the walls, and they could clearly see the house was settling. HomeSpec sent a senior project manager, Keith, to inspect the house and discuss options with the homeowner.  They originally decided to use helical piers inside the home to address the settling and a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System for the bowing walls. However, while foreman Ryan and his team arrived for the repairs, the homeowner inquired about additional repairs. They planned to stay in the home for a long time and did not want things to get any worse. As such, they wanted to invest in further improvements and prevent water damage as well. They added an interior drainage system and a CleanSpace® vapor barrier. Due to the size of this job, this was a multi-team project. The other foreman involved in these installations and repairs were Josh, Eleftherios, and Rick. The homeowner was happy with the finished results, a completely transformed basement protected from settlement and water problems.
